Where to Take a First Aid Training Course

Your location: Have our qualified First Aid instructors come to you! Minimum class size of 8 and a maximum of 14 students.
(Please inquire about accommodating smaller class sizes)

Blended/Online: Have the convenience of flexibility of learning from anywhere. First Aid Training Programs (Red Cross Training Program Only) online paired with in-house skills and testing.

What is Covered in a First Aid Training Course?

All First Aid Courses Include:

  • Manual, Certification Cards and a take home Barrier Device for all participants!!!
  • AED training included in all CPR and First Aid Classes.
  • Training under The Canadian Red Cross or the APEX First Aid training programs.

*Option to purchase a hard copy first aid/CPR manual or pocket mask for personal use!

The two most common first aid courses both for personal education and those required in the workplace are Emergency First Aid and Standard First Aid, each with different levels (A, C, HCP). All courses include AED and CPR.

Basic (Emergency) First Aid

Level A (Adult only) or C (Adult, Child, and Infant) 1 Day

The Emergency First Aid course teaches individuals to respond to life-threatening medical emergencies either an illness or an injury.

Intermediate (Standard) First Aid

Level A (Adult only) or C (Adult, Child, and Infant) 2 Days

The Standard First Aid Course is a comprehensive two-day course offering individuals emergency first aid but also in-depth knowledge about other potential injuries or illnesses that may or may not be life- threatening.

Basic Life Support

Designed to build participant confidence in performing CPR in a team environment for professionals with a duty to respond. Teaches the important steps to perform a rapid assessment, Basic Life Support (BLS) skills, and rapid defibrillation including use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).

CPR/AED

Level A (Adults only) or C (Adult, Child, and Infant)

The CPR/AED course prepares individuals for various levels of resuscitation (CPR) and use of AEDs.

Emergency Child Care First Aid

1 Day

This course prepares individuals for emergency child care in a home or work setting.

Standard Child Care First Aid

2 days

This course is a comprehensive 2 day course offering individuals emergency child care in a home or work setting but also in-depth knowledge about other potential injuries or illnesses that may or may not be life- threatening.
