Psychological First Aid Training

First aid training for your mind is as important as first aid training for the body.

Set up like all other First Aid courses, you will learn how to support yourself and others with the effects of various types of stress, using primarily case-based learning. Taught by a Psychological First Aid Instructor, the course takes a resiliency-building approach to emotional, psychological, and social wellbeing and will teach you ways to anticipate stress and equip yourself with the skills to practice self-care and care for others during challenging times. The goal is to teach participants how to cope with and strengthen mental health in themselves and then how to be there for others.

Psychological First Aid Training complements school and workplace wellness education programs.
